It can sometimes be convenient to create an additional, vertical menu in the left hand column. This can easily be done, as long as all the required entries can be included in the top level, because secondary menu entries cannot be displayed properly.

First select Menus > Manage > Add New Menu and give it a Title and Menu Type (anything will do for this), then Save & Close. Create the Menu Items as required, then return to the listing of all Menu entries, which will look like this:

Click on the button "Add a module for this menu", then select module Sidebar-A.

On the "Advanced" tab, specify vmenu as a module class suffix (and optionally any colour tags)

 

 

You can then assign this new  menu to one or more pages.
