This time you would create the Menu entry, but specify its type as “Category Blog”. The tab Blog Layout then gives you many more options to control the way it is displayed, including:

Number of columns

You can specify a single column, where the full width of the page is given to a single Article and each successive Article follow on underneath it.

Alternatively you can specify there are to be 2 or 3 columns, arranged as a series of tiles down the page. The downside of this approach is that unless each Articles has a standard, short format, you will find they can end up with constant width but varying heights that can give rise to blank areas within the page.

Number of leading Articles

This allows a layout where the one or two most recent Articles are allowed the full width of the page, but subsequent ones are constrained into 2 or 3 columns.

Article Order

Usually Across is appropriate

Date for Ordering

You can choose between’

  • Date created

  • Date published
