Two Ramblers modules are available, for each of them you first have use the menu option Extension > Manage > Install, then select the tab "Install from URL".
- Walksfilter: specify https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ramblerswebs/updates/master/updates/downloads/RA-Walk-Filter-Module-0.0.3.zip
- Calendar download: specify https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ramblerswebs/updates/master/updates/downloads/pkg_ra_calendar_download-v1.0.0.zip
Other modules can be installed in a similar way. For example:
- an Accordian type of display can be downloaded from joomshaper.com (there is no charge, but you must register first)
- a simple file uploader can be download from www.valorapps.com/web-products/easy-file-uploader.html
- for an extension for creating your own forms, go to www.joomlashine.com/joomla-extensions/jsn-uniform.html (again, you will have to register for the free version)
- an extension to create sidebar displays of Calendars and Next Walks, download the file from demo.stokeandnewcastleramblers.org.uk/mod_ra_sidebar_0.0.2.zip - this is dependant on the component below.
When you have installed the extension, you can then create one or more active modules from it, selecting the new extension from the list of Extension types that is offered. Then configure it as required, and specify the page or pages on which it should appear.
An multi-purpose component is under active development, so its download location is subject to change (As for all other pages on this website, the date of last update is shown above).
- Download the installation file from demo.stokeandnewcastleramblers.org.uk/com_ramblers_1.0.9.zip and save it to a suitable folder on your local computer
- Log into the back-end, then select menu Extensions->Manage->Install, Select the tab "Upload Package File" and browse for the file you have just downloaded
- This should install the component, and result in a new menu entry of "Ramblers" in the "Components" menu.
- From there, select the entry "Configuration" and define appropriate values
- From Content > Media, create new folders as required for any files you will be uploading.
For more detail about this component, please see section 4 of the Webmasters Guide.
