Most of the functionality is managed from a single multi-purpose screen accessed from the back end of the website, e.g. www.xxxramblers.org.uk/administrator. If a Star appears after the name of a List, this signifies that it is the "Primary" list for the Group.
The information shown includes the member who "owns" the list, and the date of the most recent mailshot.
From here, functions are provided to;
- Create a new mailing list
- Update an existing mailing list
- Create a new Mailshot
- Edit a mailshot where a draft is present that has not been sent
- Send a draft Mailshot.
- View the current list of Authors
- Edit the list of Authors
- View the current list of Subscribers
- Edit the list of Subscribers
- View the audit history of when how and when subscriptions were added or cancelled.
As a rule, all paid-up members will automatically be present as Users after the interface is processed, and will have been subscribed whichever list has been designated as the Primary list..
